From the moment of the first note, to the jam-session ending, this CD packs a powerful expression of faith and praise. Each song, carefully selected, presents a story of the group's testimony and personal witness. The harmonies are wonderful, and the song choices are awesome. But go a little deeper than just what you hear. Listen to the true message of this entire CD. We're welcomed at the start, and then we're given a testimony of God's surpassing greatness. We're literally taken into the presence of Jehovah, asked to count our blessings, and allowed to dream big with splendid pictures of our Creator King. When most of us would want to wrap with I'll Fly Away, they stick it right in the middle of the CD and close with a wonderfully rich arrangement of All People That On Earth Do Dwell. For what seems like such a short time from beginning to the end, a person can really catch a glimpse of our Savior, His majesty and the glory of His Name in listening to the CD. When can we look for original music from this group? I don't know what answer that question will provide, but I know this: Harbinger rivals a lot of up and coming music groups out there today - give them their own tracks, and there will most definitely be another space on the shelf at Christian bookstores all across the country. Here's to a really great first CD, and a prayer for the next one to follow.
