Missouri Military Academy (MMA) has hosted summer leadership and confidence camps for boys since 1991, offering an array of outdoor activities designed to build character and challenge the participants, both mentally and physically, in a structured
environment. Campers will be exposed to the military boarding school lifestyle and disciplines, helping to build character, teamwork, and instill values in an organized and safe setting.

The Missouri Military Academy Summer Confidence Camp is an opportunity for boys, ages 8-11 years old, to learn how to follow the example of good leaders while having the time of their lives!

Confidence Campers are trained in the basics of group effort and personal responsibility. Through adventurous military training the campers will build self confidence and learn to trust the other campers. As they traverse the obstacle course or rappel off the 40’ rappel tower, the camper will find inner strength and abilities he never knew he had in him. They are supervised by adult camp counselors who are great role models. Most of the counselors are certified teachers who serve the Academy during the school year. All of the camp counselors have either military or previous camp experience.

The Missouri Military Academy Summer Leadership Camp is an adventurous two weeks of exploration for boys, ages 12 to 16 years old. Campers learn to follow great leaders, and then to lead others. Activities are designed to challenge each boy to get out of his comfort zone and take healthy risks.

Leadership Campers begin by learning the basics of group effort and individual personal responsibility. The campers will learn respect for themselves and others through the military drill and regiment. They progress into the pursuit of leadership development in an atmosphere
that celebrates youth and the fun of living.
